CSEC believes that it is very important for your student to be in class all day, every day, to ensure a successful future.  For the 2010/2011 school year we are updating our attendance policy, which will reflect clear expectations for school attendance.  We are planning ongoing rewards for the students with perfect attendance.  We want to encourage all students to be present in school.

Attendance Office Hours:  7:30am-3:30pm Monday through Friday (during the school year)

Attendance Policy  (revised 1/2012)

In order to keep parents/guardians informed about their students' attendance, daily phone calls will be made to any student who receives an unexcused absence for one class period or more.  A message will be left on the home or cell phone informing the parent of date and time of the absence.  It is the responsibility of the parents/guardians to return the call and keep the school informed of the attendance status of their child/student.

Student Shadowing / Visiting Policy

The privilege of non-CSEC students visiting CSEC's campus, attending classes or 'shadowing' a CSEC student for a day is reserved for prospective students who have started the enrollment process.  For more information click here and scroll down to the bottom of the page.
