Keith King – Keith is the Administrator of Colorado Springs Early Colleges.  He has served on the School Board of Cheyenne Mountain School District, Cheyenne Mountain Charter Academy, served four terms in the Colorado House of Representatives, is currently elected to the Colorado Senate, and was appointed to the National Assessment Governing Board by Secretary Paige.  He also has served on the Colorado League of Charter Schools Board for over eleven years.  He has written the application for three successful charter schools in the Colorado Springs area, Cheyenne Mountain Charter Academy, James Irwin Charter High School and Colorado Springs Early Colleges.  He received his Bachelor’s Degree from Colorado State University – Pueblo and his Master’s Degree from Oregon State University.  During his service in the Colorado Legislature he continues to carry bills effecting charter schools and school districts in the state.

Jason Dilger – Jason is the Academic Dean of Colorado Springs Early Colleges. His employment in charter schools that serve all students, especially the at-risk population, has helped him prepare for the Academic Dean position at Colorado Springs Early Colleges.  His responsibilities while serving in those school settings included directing Response to Intervention initiatives, chairing departments of English and Social Studies and directing school wide discipline initiatives. He has also managed a Boys Town resident group home for at-risk teen boys.  That experience included tasks such as budgeting, working with teachers, social service groups, doctors, lawyer and parents.   He also has worked in two business roles that included human relations, marketing and project management.  He was born and raised in Central Coast California. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Colorado – Colorado Springs, and has completed a two year program in Curriculum and Instruction also from the University of Colorado – Colorado Springs.

Kevin Moore – Kevin is the Dean of Student Success at Colorado Springs Early Colleges.  He currently heads the effort of Colorado Springs Early Colleges to help each student find success in achieving their goals at the school.  He also is responsible for the Response to Intervention efforts of the school and directs the School Accountability Committee.  He was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York.  He joined the Army, as a young man and was stationed at Fort Carson.  He received his Bachelor’s Degree from Colorado State University – Pueblo and his Master’s Degree from Regis University.  Kevin taught over sixteen years in Colorado Springs School District 11 and was awarded the “Teacher of the Year” in 1994.  In 1997, Kevin left teaching to become the Children’s Ministry Pastor at New Life Church.  During his nine years there, he trained coordinated and pastored over 500 volunteers and a staff of twenty.

Robin Zook – Robin is the Registrar of Colorado Springs Early Colleges.  Robin has been responsible for implementing the student information system and website for CSEC.  She also handles most of the data reporting requirements from the Colorado Department of Education. Robin brings a variety of skills and perspectives to CSEC.   She had the privilege of spending her childhood years in Liberia, West Africa in a missionary family and still loves the Liberian people and culture.  She attended Judson Baptist College in Elgin, IL pursuing studies both in music and in English education.    She has been active in church music programs since her teen years and has taught piano for more than 20 years.  She home schooled her four children and was active in the home school community for 18 years as a leader, educator, administrator, committee member and speaker at the community and state levels.

CSEC shares a campus with CTU and partners with CSEC to offer CTU college courses to CSEC students as part of  CSEC's normal school day.

         

  CSEC is authorized by Charter School Institute, a state-wide organization that acts somewhat like a school district.

           

Colorado League of Charter Schools supports CSEC with training and other services.
            

Many CSEC students attend off-campus classes at Pikes Peak Community Collegeand at University of Colorado at Colorado Springs
